# Job and Client Attribute Tags

Where the Client Types, Job Categories, Job Scope and Status fields sit on the client and job forms, and every value on the fixed list behind each.

Jobs and clients can be tagged with any number of the client types, job categories and job scopes on this page,
so they can be found by tag in the [Job Explorer](https://getjobbook.com/help/Job_Maps); the fourth list, job statuses, is a single
required choice rather than a set of tags. All four lists are fixed lists built into Job Book. You pick from them;
you do not maintain them, and there is no screen for adding a value of your own. Where a job scope you want is not
on the list, the job form's **Job Scope Details** box is the place for it.

## Where the Tags Are Set

**Client Type(s)** is on the client form. On the dashboard, in the **Clients** card, click **Create New**, or
open an existing client and click **Edit**. The field sits on the **Client** tab, between **Website:** and
**Rate Sheet:**, and reads "Click here..." until you pick something. Pick as many types as apply. See

**Job Categories**, **Job Scope** and **Job Scope Details** are on the job form. On the dashboard, in the **Jobs**
card, click **Create New**, or open an existing job and click **Edit**. All three fields sit in the billing block,

**Status** is on the job form too, near the top, under **Project Name**. It is required, and it is a single

## Job Statuses

**Status:** is a required field on the job form, and it tracks the job through the product's fixed list of stages.
